 Goodachari (in English) Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Jagapathi Babu star in the 2018 action spy thriller The Spy, which was directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.Supporting roles are played by Prakash Raj, Supriya Yarlagadda, Vennela Kishore, Anish Kuruvilla, Rakesh Varre, and Madhu Shalini. Sricharan Pakala wrote the soundtrack, Shaneil Deo shot the film, and Garry BH edited it.

The movie came out on August 3, 2018, and Sesh, Tikka, and Rahul Pakala won the award for best screenplay at the Zee Cine Awards Telugu. Film Companion named the movie one of the "25 Greatest Telugu Films Of The Decade." A sequel with the title G2 is in the works.

The film made 25 crore at the box office its first weekend. Star Maa and Amazon Prime Video have purchased the satellite and digital rights to the film.
